Since 1996, Intertek Moody has been an industry-leading provider of services that companies have come to rely on to help reduce risk, increase quality, optimise efficiency and improve safety across their supply chains and projects.
Established as Moody International South Africa (now Intertek Moody), the company initially focused on quality assurance and quality control in high-risk industries and manufacturing. In the immediate years that followed, the South Africa team was directly involved in major pipelines, mining, chemical, petrochemical and refining projects within the region.
As industries evolved and new industry sectors emerged, so did the team’s expertise, innovation pursuits and service portfolio. From vendor inspection, expediting and technical consultancy, to risk-based inspection, hydrogen and renewables, Intertek Moody South Africa is poised to expand its core services and add new services such as corrosion under insulation screening and robotics, supporting its customers’ needs for enhanced asset integrity, data management and predictive analytics.
Intertek Moody South Africa also supports local content commitments through partnerships, training initiatives and community outreach that go beyond the borders of South Africa, leveraging the team’s decades of experience and engaging with the next generation of technical experts.
